Upper School Students Visit WSU for Production of Xtigone

Students from the CK Theatre program and “African-American Experience in Literature” course attended Wayne State University's performance of Xtigone.
A modern retelling of Antigone, the play recreated Sophocles’ classic tragedy through the use of hip-hop poetry, dance, and slick language. The CK classes in attendance were interested in exploring the production as both a creative and cultural work, taking their analytical skills outside the classroom and into the world of the arts.
