Weight Room Renovation

We are pleased to report that fundraising for the Cranbrook Schools Weight Room renovation is now complete, with more than $1.2 million raised from current and past parents, the Booster Club, alumni, and friends

The effort began with strong momentum at last year’s Window to the World paddle raise, which generated nearly $700,000, and was brought to completion through a generous lead gift from Lee ’82 and Jennifer Ghesquiere P’14,’16,19.

Construction is expected to begin this spring, with completion targeted for late summer in advance of the new academic year. The renovated facility will feature a fully reimagined space and new Cranbrook-branded equipment, reflecting both the strength of our community’s philanthropy and our continued investment in student wellness and athletic excellence.

This upgraded space will feature state-of-the-art equipment, improved climate control, designated flexible training areasnew lighting and flooring, and integrated technology,  designed to support every student – from athletes to performers. It’s an essential upgrade that will foster strength, wellness, and a deeper sense of community across Cranbrook.

The Goal is to unleash the full potential of Cranbrook students – to improve their well-being while providing them the opportunity to be stronger, safer, and better prepared for the rigors of competition.
