Joining the Horizons-Upward Bound Program

HUB is a year-round intensive academic program that supplements and supports the efforts of the student’s high school.  Subsequent to completing the 8th grade, students join HUB the summer prior to their freshman year of high school.  HUB has two components: a 6-week Summer Residential Component and a 24-Saturday Academic Program.

Interested students and parents, please open the link and complete and submit the new student/parent application.  In addition, your school counselor and teachers must complete the recommendation forms linked below.  Please know, it is essential and necessary for the HUB Office to have all forms prior to a student being considered.

Contact Ms. Brenda Gatlin (phone:248.645.3184, email: huboffice@cranbrook.edu).

Deadline:
All forms must have been submitted no later than Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Once the application is complete, we will schedule an interview for both the parent(s) and the student.  Decisions will be mailed out no later than April 30.
