CK Rowing: Gold in Men's Double, Bronze in Women's Light Four at Hebda Cup

Cranbrook Kingswood Rowing battled tough weather conditions on the Detroit River at the Hebda Cup Regatta on April 29 and came away with a gold medal in the men's double and a bronze medal in the women's lightweight 4+. The Cranes competed in nine finals, a team record at this regatta, attended by 12 teams from Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.

The Hebda Memorial Cup is a rowing regatta for high school students, an annual championship which is traditionally held on the final Saturday of each April. 12 high schools attended this year’s event, all of which competed in 23 heats and 20 finals.
