CK Athletics Honored by MIAAA with Exemplary Program Award

The Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) has honored Cranbrook Kingswood School with the Exemplary Program Award. Cranbrook is one of only two schools in the state to be awarded this status by the MIAAA.

As CK Athletics Director, Steve Graf was recognized by the MIAAA and the Michigan High School Athletics Association (MHSAA) in Traverse City at the annual MIAAA Mid-Winter Conference on March 19, 2017.

Now in its 58th year, the MIAAA brings together nearly 700 athletic administrators serving in numerous high schools and junior high/middle schools in Michigan. As partners with the MHSAA, the MIAAA works to promote the educational value of interscholastic athletics and the role and profession of athletics. Both organizations were proud to acknowledge Cranbrook for its long-standing tradition of athletic excellence and success.

The MIAAA Exemplary Athletic Award Program honors schools that model equity and excellence and a commitment to all student athletes. The Cranbrook Kingswood administration models a professional approach that provides a comprehensive program with a culture of student engagement, service, recognition, and athletic excellence. Both the MIAAA and the MHSAA recognized Cranbrook Kingswood for its long-standing tradition of athletic achievement, the dedication of its student athletes and their coaches, and the positive support and resources within the program.

Congratulations to our outstanding athletics instructors for this well-deserved recognition!
