CK Boys Swim/Dive Team Breaks Decade-long Brother Rice Winning Streak

The CK Boys Swim & Dive team just learned how much their hard work pays off.  Last night, they handed Birmingham Brother Rice their first dual meet loss in over ten years, defeating them 90-86 in a close-fought battle. The entire meet had spectators on the edges of their seats, and the final event, the 400-free relay, was no exception. Said one observer, "The final relay was thrilling! It was neck-and-neck, and our anchor, Matt Yang, had to hold off an incredible Rice freestyler. He swam so hard... It was crazy."

Head Coach, Karl Hodgson said of the victory, "It was a nice win, but I was more pleased with how well we swam. We had four new State cuts, and many personal and season bests. It was by far our best performance of the season."

Congratulations to the coaches, swimmers, divers and parents. Go CK!
