All-girls robotics team qualifies for States!

At the Robotics VexIQ competition held Saturday, Januray 28 at the Nissan Technical Center, the Cranbrook Kingswood middle-school all-girls team qualified to go through to States.

The all girls 7th grade team 37B won the Teamwork Champion award in a nail-biting finish. Having qualified for finals in 5th place with only seconds to go, they managed to balance the see-saw getting them enough points to steal an overall first place finish. Not only that, but they also won the STEM award for the third time, for their research project into the use of robots in surgery. In addition to that, the team also took home the trophy for the robot skills challenge.
