CK wins in PK's 5-4

Cranbrook played Fenton at their high school in a close regional semi-final. The cranes dominated the first half, using the wind to keep the ball in Fenton's half of the field. Unfortunately they were unable to put one on the board, and the game was scoreless at the break. With the wind in Fenton's favor for the second half, the cranes produced limited attacks. Off of a free-kick taken by Nate Kim, Wyatt Smith hit the post with a shot and it ricocheted into the path of Cam Hannah for the goal. Minutes later, Fenton responded with a well-placed shot into the top left corner, and regular time ended honors even at 1-1. After two 10 minute halves of extra time, the game came down to penalties. All 5 of Cranbrook's penalty takers scored, and the game was won by Alex Wang, who saved Fenton's third penalty making it 5-4 overall.
