Cranes squeak by Eagles for 1-stroke victory
The lady Cranes teed it up Thursday afternoon Vs Notre Dame Academy of Toledo at the Par 35 Royal Oak Golf Course.
A slow start saw the Cranbrook squad fall behind on the first two holes but solid play down the stretch earned them a 165 - 166 victory.
Senior captains Sienna Ilitch (38) and Mackenzie Behnke (39) led the way for the team. Sophomore Sydney Behnke (43) and Junior Sophia Kouza (45) wrapped up the team scoring. Junior Chiara Martella (49) and Senior Sofia Dykstra (56) also competed for the Cranes.
