Cranes and Eaglets Battle to a Draw

In a rematch of the first game of the season, Cranbrook and St. Mary's squared off on Thursday night, in a hard-fought, well-contested match. In the first half, junior Jun Park smashed a ball past the St. Mary's keeper, served in from the wing by Charlie Stamell. The Cranes and Eaglets both had opportunities throughout the second half, but it was St. Mary's who were able to capitalize on a Penalty Kick with about 10 minutes remaining. Neither team could break through in the final moments, and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. 

Cranbrook travels to Ann Arbor Fr. Gabriel Richard on Tuesday for a rematch against the Fighting Irish.
