Cranes finish 10th in Marian Invitational

The Lady Cranes played in the 16 team Marian Invitational Tuesday afternoon held at the Par 70 Oakland Hills CC North Course. High heat and humidity greeted the field of players with a heat index near 100 degrees. A championship field consisting of top teams from Michigan and Ohio weathered the conditions and the Cranes earned a 10th place finish with a score of 348 just 9 shots back of 5th place in a tightly contested tournament. Senior Mackenzie Behnke led the squad with a score of 76 which also earned her a 5th Place individual finish and a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Sophomore Sydney Behnke was next for the team with a score of 89. Seniors Sienna Ilitch (90) and Anya Samsonov (93) wrapped up the scoring for the team.
