Cranes Win 2 in Tri-Match
The lady cranes traveled to Grosse Pointe Tuesday afternoon where they competed at the Lochmoor Club in a Tri-Match with Grosse Pointe South and Detroit Cass Tech. The 3 teams teed it up over the 2868 yard Par 36 front nine which provided a championship caliber test for the players. The Cranes posted a 170 total defeating both GP South (185) and Cass Tech (232). Senior co-captain Anya Samsonov led all players with a score of 41.
Senior Mackenzie Behnke and Sophomore Harriet Cortez posted a pair of 42’s. Sophomore Ava Kouza wrapped up the team scoring with a 45. Senior Sienna Ilitch (46) and Sophomore Alina Yuan (48) also competed but did not factor into the team scoring. The team is off for the Labor Day weekend but will be back in action at the Marian Invitational at Oakland Hills North Course on Tuesday September 5th - 1:45 pm start time.
