Dancing in the goal

The Friday night game was against the division leading Ann Arbor Pioneers.  However, it wasn’t until half way through the first that the Pioneers got their first shot on Goalie Sui.  It was a tough game however CK kept shutting down their opportunities and goalie Sui kept dancing in the crease, whacking away the shots!  By the end of the second, shots on goal were 24 by the Pioneers. Defense held strong holding the blue line, backing each other up in our end & making smart passes.  Fights for the puck were intense.  Forwards forechecking was stellar especially the race by Daniella Gan.  Captain Anna Timko had a handful of breakaways with strong shots on net.  Captain Ella Lantigua made rushed down the ice weaving thru the sea of purple. In the 3rd, a high puck was hand caught by Timko as if a Major League Baseball player🏏 and served right to the goal! Winger Ranya Ahmad came inches to having a goal with her constant pressure on a rebound.
