CK JV girls tennis tops DCD

CK JV girls tennis continued its steady play, beating Detroit Country Day on Wednesday in a rescheduled match at the tennis complex.

Everyone showed grit and the ability to engage their opponents. Good job CK tennis players!

1. Samantha/Anna were behind one set but forced a tiebreak only to lose by 2 points (4-6, 6-3, 11-13)!
2. Laila/Giselle pushed hard but lost 4-6, 4-6.
3. Angela and Mollie continued their winning streak, 6-3, 6-2.
4. Maayan and Riya topped their opponents 6-3, 7-5.
5. Nysa and Ella pushed hard but ultimately fell 2-6. 1-6.
6. Meredith and Arianna dominated 6-0, 6-1.
7. Karena and Sophe did the same, winning 6-0, 6-1.
8. Claire and Alice won easily, 6-0, 6-0 - well done!
In exhibition matches:
Rachel and Maryam topped their opponents 8-0 (eight-game pro set).
Elizabeth W. and Charli also won 8-3.
Michelle and Elizabeth L. fell 1-6 against a very tough DCD team.
Lillian and Maryam were tied 4-4 when time was called.
