CK vs Black Hawks

On our home ice, Cranes took the ice to play not Chicago but local Black Hawks🪶.  It was a pretty even bench however Cranes are still missing a few of our players due to injuries & winter colds.  

In the 1st, defensive Phoebe Knoer rushed the puck down the inside boards making a stellar maneuver to protect the puck with her body making a play at their blue line to rush the net.  
Center, Milani Sheth had powerful forechecks and strong chances on net.  Wings, Sandra & Vanessa played with tiger attitude and battled for many pucks.  

In the 2nd, defensive Sophie Antone made speedy runs keeping the puck close passing thru the Black Hawks as if they were stationary.  Defensive Lela Lantigua made keys runs with furvor and confidence🏒. Wings Daniella Gan & Fiona Sik, were dynamite on the ice fighting for each puck.  

On a power play in the third, defensive Phoebe Knoer rushed the puck into the Hawks zone taking a wicked shot on net, Timko picked up the rebound and scored at 10:12✨  With penalties for both teams in the 3rd, the Cranes had positive penalty kills without allowing any short handed goals.  The Cranes had amazing opportunities while they pinned the Black Hawks in their zone making numerous shots on net.  Wings, Ameera Patel, Rayna Ahmad & Paige O’Doherty were incremental along the boards, battling for pucks and making smart passes. 

Goalie, Mira Norton had 36 shots on net, keeping her confidence throughout the game.  Terry Brooks “It’s important the girls have fun”.
