Detroit Startup Founder Adarsh Rachmale ’16 on the Homecoming Stage
Cranbrook Kingswood alumnus Adarsh Rachmale ’16, co-founder and CEO of CoverTree, was featured this fall at Detroit Homecoming XII, the annual event that brings successful metro Detroiters back to connect with and invest in their hometown.
Rachmale joined a panel of founders and investors discussing the momentum of Detroit’s startup ecosystem, where he highlighted how CoverTree—the insurtech start up he founded that is focused on manufactured home coverage—has grown to 50 employees and raised $23 million in venture capital. A TEDx youth presenter, varsity tennis player, and orchestra member among other things while at Cranbrook, Rachmale continues to embody the entrepreneurial spirit he first showcased on campus, helping shape the future of technology and investment in Detroit.
