In July, alumni living in and visiting northern Michigan gathered at the Harbor Springs home of John Giampetroni ’84 for an evening of connection and conversation. Hosted by John, his wife Christine, and their daughters Claire Giampetroni ’12 and Grace Giampetroni ’16, the event brought together guests from the 1950s through today’s students, all enjoying a perfect summer evening framed by the stunning views of Little Traverse Bay.
Director of Schools Dr. Jeff Suzik shared updates from campus, and architect Dirk Denison ’75 spoke about the critical need for updates to the Cranbrook and Kingswood dormitories, underscoring how essential modernized residential spaces are to the student experience. It was an evening marked by gratitude—for the friendships formed at Cranbrook, the dedication of its alumni, and the shared desire to support the school’s enduring mission.
