Crane Golfers Flying in the Right Direction

The Cranes rebounded nicely from their loss on Tuesday as they defeated Regina HS on Thursday afternoon 181 shots to 199 shots in a league match. The two teams competed over the Par 35 front nine at Gowanie GC in Mt.Clemens on a cool, cloudy afternoon. Cranbrook freshman Natasha Samsanov dominated the field with a 1-over par score of 36. Senior captain Katheryn Cohen was next with a 46, Freshman Ashley Cong (49) and Sophomore Sydney Greenlee (50) both overcame slow starts and finished strong to wrap up the team scoring and secure the win for the Cranes. The team will be in action again when they compete in the CHSL League Championship on Monday 10/01 at Edgewood CC in Commerce Twp.
