The Kingswood auditorium buzzed with seniors preparing to transition from high school at the Cranbrook Kingswood Alumni Association Career Fair held on the evening of January 29th.
The CKAA assembled a panel of more than twenty mentors from diverse backgrounds to give feedback to students one-on-one regarding career paths, continuing education and Senior May options. CKAA Vice President Nancy Varbedian ’79 and Mary Baker Berry ‘48 registered more than eighty seniors who turned out to get advice on general topics such as college options or ways to select major and more specific subjects such as career options. In assembling the panel, CKAA President David Runyon ’97 drew on the expertise of CKAA members, interested alumni and Cranbrook Kingswood parents to provide a range of backgrounds for the students to investigate.
