Cranes Shutout Westland in 6-0 Win

The Cranes defense came up big in a 6-0 shutout of Lutheran Westland.  Cranbrook forced 5 turnovers, including a fumble recovery and interception by Freshman LB Greg Aikens.  The CK defense also came up big on the goaline when Thomas Hunter stopped a LW RB for a loss and Willy Zhao intercepted a 4th down pass in the endzone.

Cranbrooks TD came on a 4th down halfback pass from Brandon Moore to Matt Jacobs in the 3rd quarter.  Assistant Coach Sandy hertz predicted the TD at halftime and called for it on 4th and goal from the 5 yard line.  Congratulations to the Cranes for an exciting win and fun season of football.
