Inside the Music rocks Kingswood

Musicians from two of America's hottest bands jammed in Kingswood Auditorium Sunday as part of Bravo's Inside the Music, a mix of Q&A and music.
Bravo’s Inside the Music rocked Kingswood Auditorium for nearly two hours on Sunday afternoon, with Cranbrook alumnus David McMurray C’73, on saxophone alongside Oscar-and Grammy-winning keyboardist Luis Resto and surprise guest, drummer Larry Frantangelo.

Accustomed to playing before crowds as large as 120,000, the musicians gave an intimate performance to about 180 lucky ticket buyers. They also participated in Q&As about their childhoods, their early days as working musicians and their experiences working now with music phenoms Eminem and Kid Rock.

The event was hosted by Bravo, a volunteer organization that supports the performing arts at Cranbrook Schools. All proceeds will support needs determined by the Performing Arts faculty.

Special thanks to Major sponsors, the Harriet and Michael Morse Philanthropic Fund and for the generous contributions from Westborn Market, Driven Communications, ArborOakland Group, Birmingham Country Club, Kimberly Peterson,Peony Floral, and Edward Rose and Sons.
