CK Girls' Lacrosse Victorious Over Marian

The Cranbrook Oval was the place to be when the Cranbrook Kingswood girls took on the Marian lacrosse team. The girls came on strong in the first half and took an early lead. Marian managed to tie it up 9-9 in the second half with seven minutes left on the clock, but the CK girls came on strong and finished the game at 12-10 for the win. Junior Amanda Schimpke scored 6 goals, Caley Chelios and Allie Murphy scored two a piece, and Frannie Gembis and Tara Chelios each contributed a goal. Colleen Jacoby took care of business in the crease, with 13 saves to her credit in this exciting game.
