The event continued Cranbrook Hockey's long-held tradition of giving back to the community through a game and fundraiser to beneft a worthy charity. This year Cranbrook chose to benefit
Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to the families of military service members and wounded warriors.

The game was won 7-1 with two goals by Caley Chelios, two by Sydney Sakwa, one by Julia Bleznak, one by Tara Chelios, and one by Amanda Schimpke, who scored with less than a second left in the game. Assists were by Caley Chelios, Sydney Sakwa, Amanda Schimpke, Ali Von Baillou, and Rebecca Glasser.
