Auction for 2011 Masters Tournament Badges

Thanks to a generous supporter, Horizons-Upward Bound (HUB) is pleased to offer two (2) 4-day badges to the 2011 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA. These series badges include entry to all four competitive days of this grand sporting event, commencing at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 7th straight through the awarding of the Green Jacket on Sunday evening April 10th. This is an opportunity of a lifetime! Designed by the great Bobby Jones, possibly the most hallowed and revered golf course ever built, Augusta National is home to the most coveted golf trophy in the world. Be among the azaleas, spring blossoms and Amen Corner watching the best golfers in the world competing for the Green Jacket.

Please check your calendars carefully. These two series badges are non-transferable and cannot be sold. The badges will be registered to the winning bidder and one other named person. Any violation of this will result in loss of badges.

Starting bid is $3,000 for these two Masters Tournament badges. They must be purchased as a set.

Bidding begins at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 28th and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6th. Send an e-mail to hubinfo@cranbrook.edu to place your bid. Please include your name, address and telephone number. Check your e-mail for periodic updates on the bidding status. The winning bidder will be notified on Sunday, March 6th at 6:00 p.m. Details regarding payment and delivery of tournament badges will be given at that time.

Proceeds benefit Cranbrook Schools Horizons-Upward Bound, whose mission is to prepare students with limited opportunity from the Detroit metropolitan area to enter and succeed in post-secondary education. A tax receipt will be provided.
