Kingswood Tree Sculpture Offered by Cranbrook Kingswood Alumni Association
The Kingswood Tree originated in 1931 to emboss the diplomas of the first graduating class. Ellen and George Booth designed the seal, and the rendering was finalized by Cranbrook Academy of Art members Arthur Nevil Kirk, Head of the Silversmith Department, and Edward A. Miller, Academy Printer.
The Cranbrook Kingswood Alumni Association is pleased to offer for sale this sculpture of the Kingswood Tree in bronze. The piece stands 10” tall on a circular 6½” base bearing the inspirational Kingswood motto “Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve.” Inquiries may be directed to John Winter at the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 248-645-3613 or jwinter@cranbrook.edu.
