Varsity Boys Hockey has a Weekend of Celebrations

Cranbrook alumnus Jim Johnson ’74 will be honored between the first and second periods of the varsity boys ice hockey game on Friday, December 7th.  Game time is 7:00pm. The Schools are recognizing Jim’s induction into the National High School Hall of Fame.  He is the first selection to the Hall of Fame in the sport of ice hockey.  Jim remains the most prolific scorer in the history of high school hockey.  He scored 249 goals, including 45 hat tricks during his Cranbrook career, many of them on the old outdoor rink.  Please attend the event to honor Jim for his outstanding achievement.




The Cranbrook Boy’s Varsity hockey team will unveil their 2007 State Championship Banner at the Cranbrook/Wallace Ice Arena on Saturday, December 8, 2007. The unveiling and a short presentation will take place between the first and second period of the Cranbrook/East Kentwood game. Game time is 2pm.
