Arlyce Seibert Named Outstanding Head of School by Columbia University

Prestigious Klingenstein Center for Leadership recognizes Cranbrook School Director for highly effective and transformative leadership abilities.

The Klingenstein Center for Leadership at Columbia University has named Cranbrook Schools Director Arlyce Seibert an Outstanding Head of School. Ms. Seibert and a select group of colleagues were nominated for the honor by prominent educators, leaders and peers in the independent school community and were chosen because they exhibit unique qualities of highly effective leaders.

As part of this honor, Ms. Seibert will lend her insight and expertise to two graduate students from the Klingenstein Center Leadership Academy of Teachers College at Columbia Univeristy. These students will spend two days shadowing Ms. Seibert for their analysis of an outstanding school leader, and they will interview several Cranbrook constituents to learn from them the ways in which Ms. Seibert’s leadership style has contributed to the successful governance of Cranbrook Schools.
