CK JV tennis falls to Clarkston

CK JV tennis players met their biggest challenge so far this season: Clarkston Varsity B. We were missing 5 team members (Anna, Samantha, Minka, Elizabeth LL and Giselle) and fell to the very strong (and robust team at 28 players), but we did have some small wins, which included a set win from Meredith and Ari, at No. 5, before losing in a 10 point tie break.

And in exhibition play, Michelle and Sophe grabbed a set at No. 10; Nysa and Karenna, playing a second time, won 6-0, 6-2; Claire and Alice, playing a second time, won 6-1, 6-0, and Sophia and Meredith were ahead when time was called in their second match, 5-3. Even though the wins did not contribute to our official score, they are wins all the same :-)
