Much Ado About Shakespeare

Sean Maher, actor and parent of Sophia Maher ‘25, was a guest in Miranda Crowl’s Shakespeare elective sections in November.  Maher plays Don John in Joss Whedon’s 2012 film of Much Ado About Nothing, the text students are currently studying.  Maher spoke about the experience of making the film, performing Shakespeare for the first time, the pleasure of playing a villain, his acting methods and welcomed student questions.
