Four Cranbrook Robotics Teams Headed to the World Championships
Eight of Cranbrook’s Upper Schools robotics teams traveled to Kettering this past weekend to compete in the State Championship, with 80 of the top teams in the State qualified to participate this year. There were 16 World Qualifying spots awarded at the State Championship, with Cranbrook winning four of them!
Congratulations to:
Team 39Y (Simon, Will, Thomas, Mandy, Terrance, Lauren, Qiyun, and Albert) for winning the Gold Divisions Championship and earning the Tournament Finalists Award
Team 39K (Vineet, Yi-An, Ryan K., Stanley W., Alan, and Tony) for advancing to the finals of the Blue Division and earning the Tournament Semi-Finalists Award
Team 39H (Hriday, Rishi, Sophia T., Steve, Summer, and Sanjay) for also advancing to the finals of the Blue Division and earning the Tournament Semi-Finalists Award and in addition, winning the Build Award
Team 39Z (Aarav, Dev, Shriram, Kevin, Nabhah, Banny, Srinidhi, Nadir, and Vik) who came in 5th in the Robot Skills competition and earned a Qualifying Spot to Worlds from another team's double qualification
Middle and Elementary level State Championships are coming up this weekend.
