Cranbrook Kingswood Middle School for Girls, Middle School for Boys students participate in interim trip to Cleveland
The Rock and Roll Capital of the World welcomed seventh graders from CK Middle School for Boys and Middle School for Girls for an exciting three-day interim trip in late September. The purpose of the fall interim trip was to visit a midwestern industrial city upon a Great Lake similar to our own of Detroit and to build community and a welcoming environment for the beginning of the year.
Activities included visits to the Cleveland Aquarium, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Great Lakes Science Center, and the Cleveland Museum of Art, as well as evening downtime in city parks and playing putt-putt golf. In addition, students from both schools enjoyed a joint sightseeing cruise on the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie and a boisterous baseball game at Progressive Field, featuring the hometown Guardians and the Baltimore Orioles.
