Cranes Lose to Catholic Central in Close Match
The Cranes traveled to South Lyon on Wednesday afternoon where they teed it up at The Cattails Golf Club. The defending D1 State Champion Shamrocks were host to the Cranes over the Par 36 3030 yard layout. The Cranbrook squad played tough but when the scores were tallied C.C. came up with a 4 shot victory 157 - 161.
Cranbrook Freshman Henry Delzer led All players with an even par score of 36. Sophomore David Schmitt (40) was next for the team.
Seniors Larrance Xing (42) and Duncan Murdock (43) wrapped up the team scoring. Senior Wally Miller (44) and Freshman Jimmy Xu (45) also competed but did not score for the team.
The teams next competition is on Monday 4/24 at The North Course at Oakland Hills CC - start time is 12 noon.
