Cranes Beat Northville For the 2nd time
In an enthralling competition at Wallace Ice Arena, the girls defended their winning streak against the Huskies by triumphing over them 6-3.
The game began fast and succesfully for the Cranes with two quick goals from Sophmore Tara Chelios and Senior Sydney Sakwa. With another goal from Leah Isreal in the 2nd period the game truly became very one sided. As Sophmore Annie Chen relieved senior Colleen Jacoby in net, the Cranes offense picked up even more with just a few goals let in the 2nd period. In the third period, Chen had a solid shutout on her hands and Sakwa, Senior Ali Von Bailou and Freshman Frankie White Levin scored the final goals of the game, finishing iwth a 3 point lead. The girls next Game is at Grosse Point South, and their record is currently 10-3. Good Job Girls!
