It is time to celebrate the Class of 2025!
Please read below for details regarding the 2025 commencement ceremonies.

Important Commencement Details for Seniors and Senior Families

  • Names for Commencement Program and Diplomas

    Only legal names, as registered with the school, will appear on graduation programs and diplomas.  If a name has changed legally, please contact Cindy Miller, Graduation Coordinator, at cmiller@cranbrook.edu.
  • Regalia (Cap and Gown)

    Academic Robes- Each student provided information in September during orientation for academic robes. 

    PICK-UP: Commencement rehearsals on Thursday, June 5th.    

    RETURN: Gowns must be returned to Christ Church Guild Hall by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6th.
  • Tickets

    Both commencement ceremonies are ticketed events. Each graduate will receive four tickets that are now available for pick up from College Counseling and should be picked up by May 15. Only the graduate may pick up their tickets. After May 15 they will be available at Baccalaureate on Sunday, May 18 or at rehearsal on June 5. 

    Note: students do not need a ticket for the ceremony.
  • Parking

    Parking is available in the Christ Church parking lot AND the 550 Lone Pine lot at Cranbrook.  The 550 lot is the parking area for the Oval and Performing Arts Center (PAC).  There will be shuttle service to and from Christ Church.  
  • Shuttle Service

    Shuttles start at 9:00 a.m. and will run to 5:00 p.m.  It will loop from the 550 Lone Pine lot to Christ Church with a stop at Academy Way for easy access to the Cranbrook Quadrangle for lunch. 
  • Photography / Videography / Livestreaming

    A professional photographer will be at each ceremony to take a photo of your student receiving their diploma.  There will also be a videographer to video the entire ceremony, which you will be able to download at no additional cost.  The event will also be live-streamed.  Please see the link at the top of this page.

    For the safety and consideration of everyone in attendance, please do not leave your seat to take photographs during the commencement ceremony.

Commencement Rehearsals: June 5

Commencement Rehearsals – morning of Thursday, June 5, 2025, Christ Church Cranbrook

All seniors MUST attend rehearsals. Attire is casual and a picnic sponsored by the Alumni Association is available for all seniors at the church starting at 11:30 AM.
            Cranbrook Rehearsal – 10:45 AM
            Kingswood Rehearsal – 1:00 PM

Commencement Ceremonies: June 6

Commencement - Friday, June 6, 2025, Christ Church Cranbrook
  • Cranbrook Commencement - 10:30 AM  (Seniors arrive by 10:00 AM)
  • Kingswood Commencement - 3:00 PM (Seniors arrive by 2:30 PM)
There will be a luncheon for students, parents, and guests between the ceremonies from 11:45 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. in the Cranbrook Quadrangle.
 

Senior Events, Spring 2025

  • Prom - May 17

    Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 8:00 PM, Cranbrook Quadrangle
    This event will be a wonderful night of music, lights, and food in the beautifully decorated Quad.  Attire is formal, and the theme this year is One Short Night in the Emerald City.
  • Baccalaureate - May 18

    Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM, Christ Church Cranbrook
    Baccalaureate is a reflective service that honors the conclusion of the seniors’ journey at Cranbrook Schools.  It is the compliment to Convocation, which is held each fall and marks the opening of the school year. All members of the Class of 2025 are invited to attend with their families. There is no capacity limit, and this is a dress-up event.  A special reception for the seniors is held immediately afterward at Cranbrook House.  Please join us!
  • Senior Awards Night - June 5

    Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 5:00 PM, PAC
    This event celebrates members of our senior class as well as faculty and takes place in our Performing Arts Center (PAC).
