CK Football Team Wins FIRST EVER District Championship!

On Saturday, November 4th, the CK Football team performed a feat not yet achieved on its home turf: winning the District championship and taking home the trophy. Facing off against--and defeating--the Detroit Mumford team, the Cranes took the Division 4 championship for the very first time.

Sophomore running back and linebacker Jack Fairman stated that "[The victory] means a lot to us. We wanted to win this game and then move on and get better and keep going. We've been working hard all year." It's an achievement that's not only historic and memorable for Cranbrook Schools, but for the entire team and coaches as a reminder of their strength as a group. "We just played hard today and we played as a team," Fairman said. "It all happens and that's why we win, because we play as a team. It's not just one individual effort."

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and supporters of this incredible team! Go Cranes!
