2023 Cranes Golfers show depth in Season Opener
The Cranes Golf Team traveled to Tam O’Shanter Monday afternoon where they played in the Brother Rice Plum Market Invitational. 26 Teams competed over the challenging 6847 yard Par 72 layout in a Play 5 Count 4 format. The Cranbrook squad battled to a 7th Place finish with a Team score of 314
Sophomores Henry Delzer (76), Andrew Chang (77) and Jimmy Xu (80) led the way for the Cranes.
Junior David Schmitt (81) had a tremendous tee to green game but a tough day on the slippery putting greens
caused his score to add up. Junior Ryan Li (88) also competed but did not figure into the Team Total.
The Cranes are scheduled for 2 CHSL dual matches this week, Wednesday vs Brother Rice and Thursday vs Divine Child. See CranNet Team Schedule for details
