CK perfect storm vs Huron-Skyline

Amongst the conversion of storms to Ann Arbor and Cranbrook’s short lineup due to winter colds, the team played all 3 periods with heart & soul🫶🏼🏒 Playing against this Division 1 team, the Cranes put the opponents on their heals.  Amongst their “fancy” plays, the Cranes boxed them out eliminating opportunities⚡️Forward Anna Timko and defense, Lela Lantigua had numerous runs to the net, taking great shots on net!  Defense, Sophie Antone & Phoebe Knoer made powerful plays eliminating opportunities💪🏼
No matter what the Cranes faces, from blocking shots to taking hits, nothing could kept them from the ice. Terry Brooks said from the bench “ we can’t let this goalie have a shut out”. At 4:59 in the 3rd, on a penalty kill, Timko had a break away…one on one with the goalie…and she scores…GOAL📣.

Starting in goal Grace Sui, made immaculate saves, staying strong with the ripping shots✨ Goalie,Mira Norton came in for the 2nd & 3rd playing strong, making pristine saves. Both goalies kept the rebounds low, covering the puck in the mist of poking sticks and hovering players.
