Showcase vs. Troy

A showdown at the Arctic Coliseum!  Although Troy began the scoring, CK finished the game with not only the win but with their endurance & strength.    At 4:09 in the 1st, Timko tied the score 1-1.  While CK fought for the puck on the ice, Goalie Gracie Sui stopped shots, recovered rebounds and covering loose pucks.

In the 2nd, on a power play defensive Sophie Antone wound up for a slap shot from the blue line, striking through the crowd on the ice & put her first goal in the back to tie up the score 2-2!!  As the score kept bouncing back & forth, CK went on another power play.  Timko, Knoer & E. Lantigua put another one in the net at 9:37 in the 2nd tiring the game at 3-3.  

In the 3rd, nothing could stop the scoring strike by CK.  At 5:07, defensive Ella Lantigua & Timko made an immaculate play putting one into the net.  Defensive, Lela Lantigua had made hard rushes to the net all game…finally with 50 seconds left, on a power play she sank one! A one to top it off, woth 27 seconds left, Ella Lantigua & Timko put a final puck for a 6-3 win!
