Senior Pageant 2024

The Jester arrived at Page Hall and summoned the crowd gathered there to the dining hall, just as he had in the winter of 1929 when the first Pageant was held at Cranbrook. Seniors were the guests of honor, and a majority of the class of 2025 was present. The twenty alumni who are parents of members of the class of 2025 were well represented.

With the string quartet playing in front of the fire as the guests arrived, the dining hall provided the perfect setting for the beautiful voices of both the Madrigals and the MasterSingers, led by Jim Gabriel, who was honored that night for his many contributions to our performing arts programs.

The "Mummer's Play" was performed by a troop of students from the Boys Middle School, directed by Ryan Ernst. The group provided rich entertainment for the head table, with Upper School Head Noël Dougherty at the helm. The Boar's Head was served as well as the Plum Pudding, and the whole dining hall toasted to the Chartwells staff, who went above and beyond to put on a fabulous dinner.
