Cranes Shoot Solid 343 at CHSL Championship
The Cranes shot a solid 343 in the CHSL Championship Tournament held Monday at Edgewood Country Club, good for 4th place. Kate Cao was the individual runner-up, shooting an impressive 75. Her round included five birdies. Carmen Chan made the All- Tournament Team, with a fine 79. Georgia Mies shot a season best score, coming in with a 94, followed by Katheryn Cohen, a 95. Kailey Roberts and Meghan Foley also represented Cranbrook.
Post season honors were announced and the Cranes earned a variety of awards. Kate Cao made the prestigious All- Catholic Team, while Carmen Chan and Katheryn Cohen earned All-League Honors. Georgia Mies was named to the All- CHSL Academic Team. Cranbrook finished 3-1 in the CHSL Upper Division, good for a three-way tie for first place with Marian and Mercy.
