2013 Varsity Tennis State Champs!

Congratulations CK Girls Varsity Tennis on their third straight MHSAA Division 3 crown! The Cranes managed to dominate the competition by appearing in the finals of all eight flights at the Division 3 State Championships in Holland May 30-June 1. Alexandra Najarian won her third straight State Championship at number one singles. Anna Short was champion at number two singles. Allison Motea won at three singles, and Sarah Lipworth won at four singles. Alissa Rowens and Meg Phyle were runners up at one doubles after competing in a tough three setter. Christina Roualet and partner Kendra Sweet took home the trophy at two doubles. Third doubles was won by repeat champions Holly Meers and Briana Letica. Taking home the title at four doubles was Emily Harvey and Lauren Lanzon. The team won decisively with 39 out of a possible 40 points! What a great season for a terrific, hardworking and talented group of young women!
