More results from the 2013 Midwest Scholastic Rowing Association Championships at Dillon State Park near Zanesville, OH:
The men's junior 8+ (Megan Martzolff '15, Jonathan Mertz '15, Griffin Wray '15, Tim Hunt '14, Will Libcke '14, Joel Warren '14, Steven Ji '14, Simon Heidingsfelder '15, and Rohin Patel '14) finished 12 of 19 in the time trial qualifier and advanced to the semifinals, where they finished 6th.
The men's varsity 8+ (Mackenzie Hibbard '14, Jack Coleman '13, Giancarlo Stefanutti '13, Hunt, Ji, Warren, Wray, Austin Glover '13, and Nick Sheehan '13) finished 13 of 16 in the time trial qualifier, only one place from qualifying for the semifinal.
The women's varsity 4+ (Audrey Elkus '14, Haley Harper '13, Claire Erwin '14, Piper Batey '14, and Tricia O'Brien '14) finished 14 of 19 in the time trial qualifier, just two places out of qualifying for the semifinal.
The men's second varsity 8+ (Kayla Lumpkin '15, Nihal Shetty '14, Maxwell Li '14, Bryan Chang '15, Nathan Tometich '15, Radwan Munkarah '14, Jongho Shin '14, Naveen Karthik '15, and Giuliano Stefanutti '15) finished 4th of 5 in its semifinal and 9th of 12 overall.
The women's novice 4+ (Anjali Roychowdhury '16, Anamika Shrestha '16, Alanna Brannam '15, Sarah Bacinich '14, and Charlotte Tan '14) finished 23rd of 25.
The men's novice 4+ (Taylor Blau '16, Michael Weiss '16, Aadi Angur '15, Louie Magidson '16, and Josh Maher '16) finished 30 of 31.
The women's junior 4+ (Elkus, Beth Schwartz '14, O'Brien, Jackie Anusbigian '14, and Eleanor Bush '14), the men's novice 8+ (Blau, Weiss, Angur, Magidson, Maher, Nick Livingston '16, Harry Jung '16, Ivan Zhu '16, and Ragav Maripudi '16), and the men's pair (Coleman and Kevin Kresnak '13) also competed at the regatta.
And, as the earlier post indicated, CK's women's pair (Harper and Erwin) won the bronze medal.
