Andrew Miller '07 Signs with Oilers, Tapped by Hockey Hall of Fame and Boston Red Sox

The Edmonton Oilers have signed Andrew Miller ’07 in the wake of his history-making season as captain of the Yale hockey team.

Yale boasts the oldest hockey program in the nation, dating to 1896. Miller’s play and leadership vaulted the team to its first-ever national championship. He was recently named a CCM Hockey Division 1 All-American.

Following fast on the heels of the Oilers deal was the announcement that Miller will be honored on the field at Fenway Park this Saturday, April 20, at 1:00 PM, when the Boston Red Sox take on the Kansas City Royals.

And if that was not enough for the 24-year-old alum, the Hockey Hall of Fame has contacted Miller and requested his stick to add to their college collection.
Congratulations to Andrew on his historic achievements!
