Girls start the season with the 15 team Linden invitational tourney

The CK Girls Varsity Volleybal team opened their 2011/2012 season with the Linden Invitational on Saturday, August 27th. The Crane Coaches tried various line ups while the players got their first taste of competing as a team The girls were led by senior co-captain Paige Weavers' 33 kills, freshman Meg Herneys' 36 assists and senior Megan Simmons 14 service aces. Sophomore Dee Dee Morrow was second in kills with 13 and senior Claire Giampetroni second in assists with 31. The team made it to the semi-final silver bracket game.
