CK Downs Former Conference Foe Lutheran Westland

The Cranes continued the hot streak as they downed former Metro Conference rival Lutheran Westland on Friday night.  The Warriors, now in the MIAC conference, kept things close in the first half with outside shooting and solid defense.  CK came out in the second half with a dominating defensive effort.  The Cranes were led by Junior Steven Morrow who tallied 16 pts on the night.  The lead was stretched to 15 pts. late in the fourth but was cut to two points with less than 35 seconds left.  The Warriors never say day attitude put a scare into the Cranes but Cranbrook held on for a four point victory.  Cranbrook hosts the Jewish Academy on Wednesday, February 24th @ 7:30 PM and then begins the Metro Conference Tournament at Keppel on Friday the 26th with a 7:00 PM tip-off.
