JV tennis ties Grosse Pointe South 4-4!!

In a dual meet, that had its ups and downs, the JV boys tennis team nearly pulled off a win over this very competitive school. With Cranbrook up 4 matches to 3 matches, captains Graham and Pritam at #2 doubles pulled out an exciting second set to split sets and go into a supertiebreaker to decide their match and the team match! With the whole team watching closely and cheering, Graham/Pritam made a huge effort, but came up short and lost the tiebreaker 7-10. This resulted in a team match tied 4-4.
Other huge come-from-behind efforts came from #1 dbs Will D/Alex who lost their first set without winning a game. They then
won the second set, and clinched the win by beating their opponents in their supertiebreaker 10-6.
And then Will Sm/Josh at #6 dbs also split sets by winning their second set, and came from 2-5 down in the supertiebreaker to win 11-9. The team's 4th win came from #8 dbs Jack/Jake who cruised past their opponents without dropping a game.
Way to go, team!!
