Cranbrook Wins 1st round of Metro Conf Tournament

In the first round of the Metro Conference tournament, the Cranbrook Cranes beat the visiting Clarenceville Trojans, 5-0.  Although the game started off slow, Becky Ostosh who was moved up to forward, kick started the game.  She scored the first goal of the game on an assist from Kelsey Martin.  Ariel Roddy scored 2 goals both unassisted.  Kelsey Martin scored 2 goals; one assist from Casey Miller and one assist from Ariel Roddy.  Abby Cohen earns her 8th shutout. 
During halftime, the seniors were recognized and presented with flowers.  Casey Miller, Becky Ostosh and Christina Pollack are 4-year Varsity members; Kaitlin Callanan and Melissa Schuhrke are 3-year Varsity members; Charlotte Lorick is a 2-year Varsity member and last but not least, Allie Moore is a 1-year Varsity member.  A big thank you to the seniors for their unending devotion to soccer and their hardwork on and off the field.  
The next round of play in the Metro Conference tournament is this Friday, May 16 at 4:30 pm on CK's home field.  GO CRANES!
