SCRIP Raises Record Amount for Faculty Compensation, Moves to Campus
Good news: SCRIP has moved to campus! Beginning this Friday, you’ll be able to purchase your favorite SCRIP cards at Robin Hill – that’s the modern house above Kingswood you drive by every time you take the one-way road from Cranbrook Road into campus. Just in time for Mother’s Day, the new SCRIP office will be open from 7:30 to 10 a.m. this Friday and from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on subsequent Fridays. (There will no longer be SCRIP pick-up at the PAC.) We will stock our most popular cards – including Starbucks, Plum Market, Papa Joe’s, Somerset and Whole Foods. Join us for coffee and treats this Friday and load up on the cards you need for Mom, graduation, and teacher gifts so you’re Shopping with a Purpose.
Remember, you can still order scrip cards by 11 a.m. each Tuesday morning via CranNet under “School Event Registration” on the school portal (click here to be directed there now). You may charge your order on VISA or MasterCard. You may also Fax your order to the SCRIP office at 248-645-3604. We will continue to sell SCRIP at school events, but in case you miss us, know you can pick up cards for your weekend shopping each Friday morning through the end of the school year. Questions? The new SCRIP office number is 248-645-3604.
Thanks to your SCRIP purchases, Mothers’ Council has donated $20,000 to faculty compensation this year. Jeannete Sui presented Director of Schools Arlyce Seibert with a check for that amount at the Upper School Mother's Council Luncheon where outgoing senior moms were also recognized. This impressive program has relied on the support of the Upper School Mother's Council and loyal SCRIP customers to be able to give back to Cranbrook Schools with every purchase consumers make using SCRIP cards.
Don't forget to join us Friday morning for coffee, snacks and the opportunity to stock up on SCRIP cards. We look forward to seeing you all there.
