Marilyn Roche

1983 - Present
Marilyn Roche has been teaching at Brookside since 1984. She taught third-graders for 13 years before switching to second grade.

Roche has served as co-president of Cranbrook Schools' Booster Club, as well as the co-chair for the middle school lacrosse state tournament. She is a member of many professional organizations, including the Michigan Reading Association, the National Council of Mathematics and the Michigan Council for Social Studies. Roche has also been an AIMS conference presenter.

Roche earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree with Early Childhood Endorsement from Hillsdale College and is nearing completion of her master's degree in curriculum in the classroom from Michigan State University. She received Cranbrook's Excellence in Teaching Award for her work in the classroom.
