CK Football Thrills with Friday Night Lights Victory to “Kick Off” Spirit Week 2025.

Cranbrook’s varsity football squad ignited a packed crowd on Friday with a 35-7 Homecoming victory over Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett. The team delivered a commanding performance throughout the entire game under new Head Coach Marcus Green.

 

Friday Night Lights has grown over the years into a tentpole event for the entire Cranbrook Schools community, as students, families, and faculty from across every grade are joined by friends and alumni at the beautiful and historic Thompson Oval. This year was marked not only by the Cranes’ outstanding performance on the field, but also by an electrifying energy among the fans who took the field both at halftime and after the game.

 

Spirit Week continues through Friday, September  26 with themed-day celebrations at every schoolhouse.
